The theory of parallel universe, I
find a sense of peace here.
And wish it was true & not so
unreal.
It says I split the world in two,
every time I choose one thing from
two.
I stay here with the side I
picked,
while my parallel self sees the
things, I chose to miss.
The more I realize the more I
fear,
What if I select and regret what’s
real?
It comes with a burden that I have
to bear,
& always I wish I don’t end up
in tear.
There have been times when I
envied the other.
But was there anything to make
myself feel better?
I know, I know not how it turned
out there,
Is she settled or she too thinks
it’s not fair?
Whatever it maybe, I do feel
contended.
‘cause I know for sure, I got what
I wanted.
Maybe not here but its real
somewhere.
Although its not me, its me who
got there.
